Why this route: Strength of our services
We have a firm partnership agreement with our partners (Financier). Our financier in Canada is well respected and known by the Canadian Government. Our financier is governed by the Office of the Superintendent of the Financial Institutions (OSFI) and the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada(FCAC).
Once your loan is approved and you have made your 30% contribution, at the point of applying for Visa, they would send a letter to Immigrations, Refugees and Citizenship Canada(Canadian Embassy) that they would be financing your education in Canada via their loan process which they are known for. This letter guarantees the fact that you will not be a liability but an asset to the Canadian community. They would also issue you a letter to submit alongside your documents at the point of applying for Visa. Your letter will obviously tally with the letter they have earlier sent to IRCC otherwise called Canadian Embassy which validates your request.
This is because the greatest challenge of Canadian Government is that most Nigerian students drop out of school because they can no longer afford the school fees hence becoming a liability on the Government. Most of them resort to shelter homes financed by the government and charity organisations and they hang around to do menial jobs. This has become a great burden to them. Once they have certified that your total tuition or school fees has been adequately sorted out, you will not have challenge with issuance of visa. It has been discovered that 90% visa request are turned down because they do not have the required financial capacity.
Why Certificate Courses
Canadian Certificate Courses are tailored around STEM courses which are: S(Science), T(Technology), E(Engineering) and M(Mathematics).
Canada respects hands-on experience and their certificate courses are very much rated over our Bachelors, Master’s and PhD. This is because Canada is a technologically developed country. They prefer practical experience acquired through their certificate courses than our Bachelors, Master’s and PhD which are often theoretical and research oriented. This is why Nigerians in Canada now do well in that they have acquired theoretical and research knowledge from home and now acquire practical knowledge as they arrive in Canada. Over time, they tend to do very well as the ride good cars, live in good houses and send money home to parents and siblings.
At visa approval and arrival in Canada, you will be issued a Work permit. After your certificate courses which ranges between 12 to 24months, you will be issued a Post Graduate Work Permit valid for two years and renewable after expiration.
How Do I Repay My Loan: Big Question
There are two major ways you can repay your loan:
- Family support from Nigeria. We usually advise parents to support their children until they are fully stabilised and not live them to the wind.
- You are also expected to work as soon as you arrive in Canada. At arrival, you will be issued a Work Permit at the airport. Your minimum monthly income based on minimum wage is between $1,000 and $2,400. Loan repayment is between $300 and $600 monthly. This makes repayment easy.
